Beer Barrel Select

In the Summer of 2018, we bottled twelve barrels of our award-winning 10 Year Old Double Barrel Bourbon. We then gave six of those barrels to our friends at Goodwood Brewing in Louisville to finish their delicious Walnut Brown Ale. When they were done, we took those barrels back and filled them with a blend of our best, hand selected Kentucky Bourbon aged up to 11.5 years. The result is our first Beer Barrel Select, born and bottled in the Bluegrass State.

10 Year Old Limited Release

Double Barrel 10 Year Old Bourbon

For our 10 Year Old Double Barrel Bourbon our Master Distiller selected twelve barrels of spectacular 10-year-old bourbon, marrying two barrels at a time to create a perfectly balanced, extremely smooth, small batch bourbon. Through countless samplings, we determined the “perfect proof” at 104-proof, with just a slight amount of pure water to open up the amazing flavors, and non-chill filtered to retain the rich amber colors and exquisite taste profile.

Tasting Notes:
Spicy and citrusy on the nose, with deeper suggestions of toasted oak, honey, and clementine. Honey is the theme of the palate, with touches of citrus and spice. Easygoing and long on the finish with hints of pepper.

“It’s rare that I find a bourbon hard to put down these days, but this is a killer that fits the description…”
