Chicken Cock Whiskey Bourbon and Beyond Sweepstakes Official Rules

By entering the Chicken Cock Whiskey Bourbon and Beyond Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following official rules ("Official Rules").
1. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Chicken Cock Whiskey, its advertising and promotion agencies, and other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstakes, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Agreement to Rules
Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on August 1st, 2024 at 12:00 AM EST and ends on September 1st, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries received before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the Chicken Cock Whiskey website and complete the entry form by providing your email address and subscribing to SMS marketing. Each completed form submission will count as one entry. Limit one (1) entry per person. Any attempt to obtain additional entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, or any other methods will void your entries and you may be disqualified.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Entrants retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in their entry. However, by submitting an entry, each entrant grants the Sponsor and its agents a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display the entry in connection with the Sweepstakes and promotion of the Sweepstakes.
6. Digital Millennium Copyright Act
If you believe that any materials have been used in the Sweepstakes in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the Sponsor with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located;
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
7. Sweepstakes Drawing
On or about September 2nd, 2024, the Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received.
8. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be notified via email on or about September 3rd, 2024. If the potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within seven (7) days of the date the Sponsor first attempts to notify them, the potential winner forfeits the prize. If the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.
9. Prize Details
Two (2) four-day general admission passes to Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Louisville, KY (the “Event”). The approximate retail value of the prize is $600. The winner is responsible for all costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein, including but not limited to, transportation to and from the Event, accommodations, food, and beverages. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability and Release
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Chicken Cock Whiskey, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize, including but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) late, lost, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property.
11. Publicity and Copyright License
Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner's consent to the Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
12. Dispute Resolution
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in South Carolina. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of South Carolina without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than South Carolina.
13. Privacy Policy
Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's privacy policy, which can be found at [Sponsor's Privacy Policy URL].
14. Name of Winner
To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Chicken Cock Whiskey, 305 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Winner's list requests will only be accepted after the end of the Sweepstakes Period and requests must be received by October 1st, 2024.
